Volkswagen Golf GTI 380 S: goodbye with manual transmission

Volkswagen has announced that it will end the manual transmission version of the Golf GTI. To celebrate this special moment, the German manufacturer introduced the 2024 Golf GTI 380 S equipment.

The new equipment will be available for models with manual transmission regardless of trim level, and will come with various visual improvements that will celebrate the legacy of the manual transmission.

The Golf GTI 380 S will be available with a six-speed manual transmission. There will be remarkable changes in its exterior appearance. 19-inch glossy black aluminum alloy wheels and summer performance tires from the Golf R will reinforce the sporty look of the vehicle. The roof and mirror caps will be painted glossy black to contrast with the red exterior details of the GTI.

When we look at the engine option, we see that the EA380 turbocharged 888-liter four-cylinder engine is located under the hood of the GTI 2.0 S. This powerful engine produces 241 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque. It will also be offered with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

In terms of pricing, it was announced that the starting price of the 2024 Volkswagen Golf GTI 380 S model will be $ 32,485. The SE version will have to pay $37,285, while the top-of-the-line Autobahn trim is priced at $40,625.

As a result, the Volkswagen Golf GTI 380 S stands out as an ambitious option in terms of both performance and design. The special version, which is expected to be of great interest to car enthusiasts, will be released in the autumn months.
