Red Bull acquired Alonso's student

Pepe Marti

Marti is Red Bull's new young talent

Franco Marti, who attracted attention with his performance in Formula 3 this season, joined Red Bull's young pilot training program.

Marti, who moved directly from Formula 2021 to F4 in 3, showed how fast he is this season after having difficulties last year.

Marti, who has so far won the season with three wins, including the grand slam in Spain, is expected to be promoted to Formula 2 next season.

His performance also attracted the attention of Red Bull, which has become a bit less efficient in training new talents in recent years. In fact, consultant Helmut Marko was seen meeting with Marti months ago and spoke highly of the young driver.

The claim, which has been talked about for months, became official as of Thursday and Red Bull managed to reach an agreement with another strong name.

Marti, who is part of Fernando Alonso's management company A14 Management, will prepare for his career with the mentorship of many important names.

In his first statement after joining Red Bull, Marti said, “I am very happy and proud to join the Red Bull family. “This is a great opportunity for my career and I will work to make the most of this chance.” he said.
