Turkey's global land systems manufacturer Otokar continues to showcase its products and capabilities all over the world. Otokar, Turkey's most experienced company with nearly 40 years of experience in the field of land systems, took its place at the DSA 2024 fair held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Otokar is exhibiting its world-famous vehicles COBRA II and SCORPIO II at the fair, which will last for 4 days.

Otokar, a Koç Group company, continues to promote its products and capabilities in the field of land systems on a global scale. Successfully representing the Turkish defense industry abroad, Otokar took its place at DSA 18, which was held for the 2024th time in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.

At the fair, which will be held between 6-9 May this year, Otokar will exhibit its world-renowned armored vehicles COBRA II and SCORPIO II. During the event, Otokar introduces its own designed and produced armored military vehicles as well as its superior capabilities in the field of land systems.

SCORPIO II

Developed based on the AKREP armored vehicle family, which was first developed in the 1990s and has proven itself on a global scale, AKREP II was designed as an armored reconnaissance, surveillance and weapons platform. Designed to meet the current and future needs of modern armies with its low silhouette, high mobility and survivability, the AKREP II family draws attention with its modular structure suitable for carrying weapons up to 90 mm.

AKREP II's permanent four-wheel drive system and optional steering rear axle offer the vehicle a unique maneuverability. AKREP II, which has superior mobility and roadholding capabilities in all kinds of terrain conditions such as mud, snow and puddles, offers users a compact design and high protection with its U-type power package located at the rear of the vehicle. Developed to be adaptable to many different mission profiles, AKREP II can take part in missions such as surveillance, armored reconnaissance, air defense, anti-tank vehicle, fire support vehicle and forward surveillance.

AKREP II has an infrastructure that allows the use of alternative power sources. SCORPIO II offers low silhouette, high mine protection and effective firepower on the same platform.
