Mercedes-Benz GLA Series in Turkey: Facelift design, new engine and safety features
Mercedes-Benz offered the GLA Series, which it underwent a make-up operation, for sale in Turkey. The model will be on sale with a single equipment package and a single engine option.
The GLA 200, which is offered for sale in our country, can only be purchased with the AMG package. The model, which has a selling price of 2.473.500 TL, uses Mercedes' new engine option.
To further reduce consumption and emissions, the new GLA's petrol engine is electrically assisted. It is equipped with a seven-speed DCT dual-clutch transmission as standard, with a four-cylinder engine option.
The semi-hybrid system includes a belt-driven starter generator and an additional 48-volt integrated power supply. This means 10 kW of additional power momentarily at the moment of first take-off or intermediate acceleration. The starter generator also contributes to comfort.
While the system starts the engine with less vibration and noise, the same zamIt also provides gliding function by stopping the internal combustion engine at the same time. In addition, it provides energy recovery during braking and acceleration, feeding the vehicle's 12 volt requirement and 48 volt battery with electrical energy.
Same as new GLA zamIt also stands out with its security support systems. The updated Driving Assistance Package provides more comfortable control of Active Steering Control and Lane Keeping Assist. The next-generation parking package also supports longitudinal parking and offers 360-degree visualization for camera-assisted parking. Also, for the first time in the GLA, Trailer Maneuver Assist. This feature facilitates reverse maneuvering with camera support. This requires the Parking Package with 360-degree camera and trailer coupling with ESP trailer stabilisation.
