Choosing to skip the Munich Motor Show, Peugeot officially unveiled the E-3008. E-3008, the first model of the French manufacturer to use the STLA Medium platform, has come to represent the future models of the French manufacturer.
New Design and Technology
The front part of the model, which bears Peugeot's classic lines, attracts attention. In the brand's new design, we see that the "lion's claw" daytime LED headlight assembly is intertwined with the grille. This creates a much more stylish and aggressive appearance at the front. Peugeot will offer LED headlight assembly as standard in all its versions and has equipped this system with the technology it calls "Pixel LED". The system can automatically adjust the headlight intensity according to the traffic and road conditions.
E-3008, whose coupe-like body structure is more clearly visible when viewed from the profile, continues to resemble Lamborghini Urus day by day. Various Engine Options
Let's talk about engine options... E-3008 will come with three different power options. The standard model can produce 210 hp and has a range of 525 km. The dual-engine performance version, which is at the next level, will offer four-wheel drive, 320 hp power and a range of 525 km. Finally, the Long Range version that we are accustomed to from EV models appears. This specific version is only available with front-wheel drive. The range of this version with 230 hp will be 700 km. While front-wheel drive versions can produce 343 Nm of torque, the four-wheel drive version will produce 343 Nm of torque at the front and 166 Nm of torque at the rear.
These range data can be achieved thanks to the high-voltage lithium-ion battery placed just under the floor. According to official data, the Long Range version has a 98 kWh battery and the standard version has a 73 kWh battery.
Fast Charging and Hybrid Options
E-160, which will support speeds up to 3008 kW in DC charging, will be able to reach 30 percent charging in just 80 minutes at these stations. In the Long Range version, this time decreases to less than 30 minutes. Peugeot will offer the E-3008 in mild hybrid and rechargeable hybrid versions. In some regions, the model will still be on sale with internal combustion engines.
