When Jeep launched the Gladiator model in 2019, it got a solid SUV that it could position side by side with the off-road brand Wrangler. Earlier this year, the automaker introduced an updated version of the SUV, introducing several significant improvements. Now, it has been announced that these improvements have been integrated into the 2024 Gladiator model, and the new model was introduced at this year's North American International Auto Show.

Innovations and Changes

The biggest change in the exterior design of the 2024 Gladiator is that the vehicle comes with a new seven-slat grille. This change is similar to the Wrangler model and it is stated that cooling performance is increased thanks to smaller grille slats. The grille has black slats and neutral gray frames, but the custom Willys hardware stands out with black slats and frames.

The 2024 Gladiator will offer seven different wheel design options, and these wheels will fit 32 to 33-inch tires. Jeep also removed the old steel antenna mast and replaced it with a stealth antenna integrated into the glass, making the vehicle's appearance cleaner.

Engine Options

As a power source, Jeep's reliable 2024-liter Pentastar V3.6 engine will be used in the 6 Gladiator. The diesel engine option will no longer be offered. A six-speed manual transmission will be offered as standard on all trim levels, while an eight-speed automatic transmission will be offered as an option.

Special for Off-Road Enthusiasts

With this update, the 2024 Gladiator will offer many features that will inherit from the SUV version. In this way, it aims to offer more options and performance for off-road enthusiasts. The new Gladiator offers Americans the opportunity to maximize their off-road experience.
