Citroën is taking a new step in the electric mobility transformation and launching the hybrid version of the C5 Aircross model. Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid will be available for sale in Turkey starting from November with its special “ë-Series” equipment.
Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid: Hybrid Technology and Performance
Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid has an innovative hybrid technology consisting of a 136 HP (100 kW) PureTech gasoline engine, a 21 kW electric motor, the new electric dual-clutch transmission ë-DCS6 and a 48V battery. Thanks to this technology, the vehicle offers superior driving pleasure by reducing both emissions and fuel consumption while increasing in-car comfort.
Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid can reach 102 horsepower and 986 Newton-meters of torque by using 1.150 octane fuel to achieve full power. If run on 98 octane gasoline, power can drop to 927 horsepower and 1.050 Newton-meters of torque. The vehicle completes the 0-97km/h acceleration in 3.3 seconds. The maximum speed of the vehicle is 250 km/h as standard, and it can reach 280 km/h in limited production Bronze Edition versions.
Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid automatically manages driving modes and energy recovery. Thus, the vehicle can do approximately half of its urban use in fully electric and 0 emission mode. This shows that the vehicle is both environmentally friendly and efficient.
Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid: Exclusive “ë-Series” Equipment
Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid features special “ë-Series” equipment, presented with the brand's characteristic letter “ë”. This equipment gives the vehicle a different appearance both outside and inside.
Exclusive to the “ë-Series” equipment, pearlescent white body color, black roof and black alloy wheels are offered as standard. In the interior, new generation Alcantara seats in light tones create a spacious atmosphere. The logos containing the letters “ë” on the trunk lid and interior distinguish this special series from other models.
The Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid “ë-Series” also features the dark chrome color package and the “ë-Series” logo, which cleverly blends gloss black, aluminum and white. These features enable the vehicle to present a prestigious, elegant and dynamic identity.
Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid “ë-Series” will be available in Turkey starting from November. The price of this special version has not been announced yet.
