Max Verstappen's Weekend in Singapore

Red Bull boss Christian Horner has revealed that he was not dissatisfied with Max Verstappen's performance at the weekend in Singapore. Verstappen had set a new record in F1 history by winning 10 races in a row, but things did not go as he expected in Singapore.

Before the Singapore Grand Prix, the RB19 car failed to meet Verstappen's expectations and surprisingly failed to qualify for Q2 in the qualifying session. Prior to this, during practice, Verstappen communicated over the team radio that he was unhappy with the performance of his car. He described the difficulties he experienced especially in shifting gears and the vehicle's settings not being as he wanted as "unacceptable".

Verstappen's Competitiveness

Christian Horner emphasized Verstappen's competitiveness and desire to win. He described Verstappen as “the most competitive driver we have ever worked with”. Horner stated that Verstappen would give 110% when he got into the car and showed the same performance in the race. Horner also stated that Verstappen is an emotional pilot and does not hide his feelings.

Despite the disappointment on Saturday, Verstappen attracted attention with his race day performance and showed a great drive.

Race Result

Verstappen started the race from 11th place and was stopped by the safety cars. zamHe finished the race in 5th place because his understanding was not suitable for Red Bull. However, Christian Horner reminded that Verstappen has won 10 races this season and is the championship leader. He stated that Verstappen is in the lead with a large point difference and the overall picture is clear.

Horner stated that they hope to be competitive next weekend.
