Alfa Romeo demonstrated the aerodynamic improvements it has performed on the limited edition sports models Giulia GTA and GTAm under real road conditions.
Alfa Romeo Racing – Orlen team pilots, Kimi Räikkönen and Antonio Giovinazzi participated in the work on the Balocco Test Track, where the carbon components integrated into the vehicles and the aerodynamic structures of the vehicles were tested. Alfa Romeo is building on the foundations of the legendary model Giulia Quadrifoglio, and further develops the two sports cars Giulia GTA and GTAm versions with aerodynamic solutions. Working with engineering company Sauber Engineering on the carbon components integrated into both versions and the aerodynamics of the vehicles, Alfa Romeo demonstrated the optimizations made with real road tests.
Returning to F33 tracks after 2019 years with the "Alfa Romeo Racing – Orlen" team in 1, Alfa Romeo included team pilots Kimi Räikkönen and Antonio Giovinazzi in the road test processes of two new models. During the work on the famous Balocco Test Track in Italy, where all Alfa Romeo sports cars have been developed and tested since the 1960s, F1 pilots collected data under real road conditions by performing tests at the limits with special videos. In line with the data obtained, the vehicle settings were made by sharing information in the workshop of the historical Alfa Romeo racing department Autodelta. Thus, both pilots had the opportunity to closely examine the developments on the vehicles.

On the historic track, also known as the "Alfa Romeo Track" in Balocco, world champion Räikkönen and young Italian pilot Giovinazzi worked closely with engineers to optimize aerodynamics and handling. To complete the fine tuning of GTA and GTAm, F1 pilots analyzed the changes made to the vehicles and conveyed their impressions on the track. Expressing his views in this context, the young Italian Pilot Antonio Giovinazzi drew attention to new technical solutions such as "carbon fiber body components" and "locked central bolt" applied on prototype wheels, whose final version will resemble style 5 type Alfa Romeo design. Giovinazzi; "It is nice to see the developments and improvements we have made on the vehicle under real road conditions," he said. Some Räikkönen worked together with aerodynamics engineers on the adjustable attachment integrated into the new front bumper and the new manually adjusted rear spoiler. Räikkönen also studied the overall balance achieved by interacting these new components with underbody liners. “I see this entire aerodynamic structure as a perfect blend between daily use and track use,” said Finnish pilot, who was satisfied with the result.
