Mayor Çerçioğlu Met with Young People

Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu met with young people who were preparing for the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS) in the courses organized by the Metropolitan Municipality. Addressing the young people at the breakfast organized by the Metropolitan Municipality, Çerçioğlu said that the KPSS exam results as well as the interview system applied in public recruitment cause grievances. He underlined that. He was accompanied at the breakfast by Republican People's Party (CHP) Aydın Provincial Chairman Hikmet Saatçı and CHP Efeler Mayor candidate Anıl Adult. Çerçioğlu stated that, as the Metropolitan Municipality, they attach great importance to education and said, “Everyone zam"We have always been with young people and we will continue to do so," he said.

Stating that he is very happy to be together with young people, Çerçioğlu said, “As Aydın Metropolitan Municipality, we attach great importance to education. For this reason, we have opened many nurseries and we will continue to do so. We attach great importance to nurseries; It is necessary to start training from the age of 3-4. We give priority to children from disadvantaged families in our nurseries. If mothers live alone with their children, we give priority to the children of these mothers in our nurseries. Because, unfortunately, nurseries outside are very expensive. "It has become impossible for a mother who wants to pay for the nursery and works for minimum wage to bear this burden," he said.

'We opened autism support centers'
Reminding that they also opened autism support centers for equal opportunities in education, Çerçioğlu said, “As the Metropolitan Municipality, we have one in Nazilli, Karacasu, Germencik and Kuşadası; We opened two autism centers in Efeler. Because the number of children with autism is increasing day by day. We provide 45 hours of free education to our special children in our centers. Because education has a very important place in autism. "We also touch our disadvantaged children," he said.
Stating that they attach the most importance to social municipality among all their services, Çerçioğlu said, “We provide the services we need to do, such as infrastructure and superstructure. But we attach more importance to social municipalism. "We think that social municipalism is very important in today's Turkey," he said.

'The public interview system is not fair'
Young people who came to the Metropolitan Municipality's KPSS courses stated that their biggest concern was the interview system rather than the exam. Underlining that they understand young people and that the interview system introduced in addition to the KPSS score in public recruitment hurts the sense of justice, Çerçioğlu said, “You work hard for a long time and get the highest score in the exam and succeed, but you cannot pass the interview because you do not have an 'uncle'. This is not fair. "The ones who are injured the most are your mothers and fathers who work for you as much as you do," he said.
