Sivas Mayor and AK Party Mayoral Candidate Hilmi Bilgin met with business people who are members of Sivas OSB Industrialists Association (SOSAD) within the scope of sector meetings and exchanged views.
In addition to Mayor Bilgin, Sivas Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Zeki Özdemir, Sivas OSB Industrialists Association President İsmail Timuçin, AK Party Provincial Chairman Yusuf Tanrıverdi and many business people attended the meeting.
SOSAD President İsmail Timuçin, who spoke first in the program, thanked Mayor Bilgin and his team for the services provided and talked about the demands of the industrialists.

Speaking afterwards, Sivas Mayor Hilmi Bilgin said, “Our investing companies believed and trusted in the future of Turkey and Sivas, and today they employ an average of 10 thousand people, export to all over the world, and contribute to Sivas and the Turkish economy. Mayor Bilgin said, “The most common demand we receive is a job request… We go to the OIZ, there is a demand for workers. We aim to eliminate the shortage of qualified personnel by negotiating with the necessary institutions regarding the establishment of a Vocational Training Center. Demirağ Organized Industrial Zone became operational. It seems that qualified personnel will be our biggest deficit. In order to ensure that the employment that will be created in that region resides in that region, we, as the municipality, will have projects in terms of housing construction and social facilities, in consultation with TOKİ. “We also aim to solve the transportation between Demirağ Organized Industrial Zone and the city by using the rail system in the region.” he said.
