Of course, for us, there has been an almost uninterrupted upward trend in both low, medium low, medium high and high technology for 13 years, except for 1-2 months during the pandemic period.” said.
Minister Kacır stated that there has been an upward trend since 2018, especially in high technology, which clearly differentiates it from other technology classes, and said, “This is actually one of the most concrete results of the R&D and innovation ecosystem established in the last 22 years. So, of course, there is a huge difference in high technology exports.zam We aim to achieve an increase. One of the most important parameters for us is how much we export high technology to the world. "The R&D and innovation investments we have made so far have actually brought about a significant import substitution opportunity in high technology, and ultimately, high-technology production has grown faster in our country, visibly separating from low-technology areas in the last 5 years." said.
Togg Sedan in 2025
Making statements about the Sedan model introduced by Togg, Minister Kacır said, “We held the first landing ceremony with the participation of our President on our Republic Day in October 2022, and as of May 2023, Togg managed to hit the roads. Togg held a pre-sale and received 177 thousand requests, they announced that they aimed to deliver 20 thousand vehicles in the first year, actually we should say the first 8 months, because deliveries started in May and by the end of the year 19 thousand 589 vehicles were on the roads. Togg became the market leader in electric vehicles in Turkey and also enabled its first model, the T10X, or C-SUV, to become the leader in its class. The target is to put this new model on sale in 2025. Now, in 2024, C-SUV sales will of course increase further with the increase in production capacity. It is anticipated that more than 3 times more Togg will be produced this year than last year.” he said.
