Charles Leclerc finished sixth behind teammate Carlos Sainz on the first day of the 2023 Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix. Leclerc performed well on high fuel laps, but had stability issues on low fuel laps.

Commenting on Friday, Leclerc said, “So it was really good on high fuel. I struggled a little more on low fuel. I think we know what we're going to do for tomorrow." said.

Noting that he had stability problems on low fuel laps, Leclerc said: "I went in a slightly different direction, so we need to reset a bit for tomorrow and focus a little more on low fuel driving, because we struggled a bit with the stability of the car there." used the phrases.

Noting that he had a tough day overall, Leclerc said, “It was a tough day overall. Our performance was quite good, but I struggled with the balance of the car." said.

Leclerc, stating that he needs to work on short rides for tomorrow, said, “For tomorrow, we need to work on short rides in particular. Higher fuel will be better.” said.

When Leclerc compared his car's balance at Monza to last weekend's Zandvoort balance: “I'm happier. Like I said, it was better especially on high fuel but not great on low fuel from my point of view. I know what I'm going to do for tomorrow, so I'm not too worried." he said.
