Jeep is developing a 600-horsepower electric off-road vehicle

Jeep plans to make a big breakthrough in the European market by launching the Jeep Recon electric off-road vehicle with approximately 600 horsepower, which will rival the Land Rover Defender, in 2025. This new model will appear as the electric brother of the famous Jeep Wrangler, with an estimated range of 600 km.

Recon is part of Jeep's growth strategy in Europe

Jeep is trying to reinvigorate itself in the European market, and this new electric model is an important part of that effort. Jeep CEO Christian Meunier described the upcoming fourth electric model as a glimpse into the future of the brand.

Recon will be Wrangler's electric brother

The Recon will use the same platform as the Wrangler and have similar off-road capabilities. However, the Recon will be larger and more powerful and will have a more luxurious interior.

Recon will be released in 2025

Recon is planned to be released in 2025. This is part of Jeep's efforts to gain a greater share of the electric vehicle market in Europe.
