The new fully electric Opel Grandland has been introduced: Here are its features

Opel introduced the new, fully electric Grandland model.

With the new Grandland, which has dynamic, wide and multifaceted features, many design features in Opel's Experimental concept car are used for the first time in a mass production model.

Innovative features include the new 3D Viewfinder with illuminated 'Lightning Bolt Logo' located in the middle of the front and illuminated 'OPEL' lettering on the back.

Other outstanding innovative features include the new Intelli-Lux Pixel Matrix HD lighting system, which consists of more than 50 thousand other components, the new STLA Medium platform developed for electric vehicles, and the new flat battery pack providing 98 kWh of power.

Opel Grandland technical details

The new Grandland will have a range of up to 700 kilometers with zero emissions. The car will reach 80 percent of its battery capacity in approximately 26 minutes at fast charging stations.

The 16-inch central screen and high center console, designed slightly facing the driver, create a sporty feeling.

The large and fully digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel provides basic information, allowing the driver to focus on driving pleasure, while the driver does not need to take his eyes off the road thanks to the Intelli-HUD head-up display.

Drivers also have the option to simplify the instrument panel by activating Pure Mode manually or automatically.

New Grandland customers will be able to choose the 48V Mild-Hybrid version along with the fully electric Grandland Electric option.

The new Grandland Plug-in Hybrid, which offers a range of approximately 85 kilometers (WLTP) completely electric and emission-free, and the new Grandland Hybrid with 48V Mild-Hybrid technology, shows its environmentally friendly direction by eliminating consumption and carbon emissions.
