Warning to drivers returning from holiday

Bendevi Palandöken, Chairman of the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), warned the drivers returning from the Eid al-Fitr holiday not to drive too fast and to wear their seat belts.

In his written statement, Palandöken pointed out that traffic accidents increase during holidays.

Pointing out that many citizens lost their lives and were injured in accidents, Palandöken advised drivers not to leave their holiday returns to the last day, considering the traffic congestion.

Palandöken emphasized the value of complying with traffic rules, "As every year, speeding, which is the most likely cause of accidents, should be avoided, seat belts should be worn without any excuses, mobile phones should not be used in traffic, our citizens should comply with speed limits and not overlook blind spots." used expressions.

Palandöken stated that drivers should not forget to rest for 15 minutes every two hours. “Especially our citizens who travel at night should not be stubborn with the body's increased desire to sleep close to sunrise in the morning. They should pull their vehicles to an available area for at least one or two hours and meet their need for sleep. It should not be forgotten that it is always more convenient to arrive late at our destination than not arriving at all.” .
