The "Modified Vehicles Festival", organized by the Municipality in the closed market area in Mevlana District, brought together 1460 modified vehicles and their owners and enthusiasts.

While the participants of the festival exhibited their vehicles, some vehicle owners showed their performance in the field.
Burhan Memişoğlu, who came to Gebze from Rize for the festival, told journalists that such activities should be spread in other provinces.
Memişoğlu stated that the 1998 model vehicle in which he participated in the organization was an heirloom from his grandfather.
