What BYD SEAL U offers
Located in the D segment, the new BYD Seal U promises a fuel consumption of 1.5 liters per 100 km with its electric motor combined with a 0.9 liter fuel engine and rechargeable batteries.
This model combines a 72kW four-cylinder 1.5 liter fuel engine with a 145 kW electric motor. BYD SEAL U integrates its hybrid engine with an automatic transmission.
Equipped with a Blade Battery with a capacity of 18.3 kWh, BYD SEAL U promises an average electric driving range of 80 kilometers according to WLTP standards when charged. In urban use, this range can increase up to 110 kilometers.
The total range of the vehicle reaches 1080 kilometers in combined use, making the rechargeable hybrid BYD SEAL U model an ideal and comfortable vehicle for long trips.
BYD SEAL U, like the brand's other models ATTO 3, DOLPHIN, SEAL and TANG, has 5 stars in EuroNCAP safety tests.
