China Exported 822 Thousand Vehicles in the First Two Months of the Year

According to the latest information published by the Automotive Industry Association, the number of vehicles exported by China in the January-February period increased by 30.5 percent, reaching 822 thousand. Meanwhile, the number of new energy vehicles exported grew by 7.5 percent, reaching 182 thousand, while the number of conventional fuel vehicles increased by 39 percent, reaching 640 thousand.

Xu Haidong, Deputy Chief Engineer of the China Automotive Industry Association, reminded that the competitiveness of automotive products is constantly increasing and foreign market demand is also increasing. Xu said that with the development of the world economy and trade in 2024, China's automotive exports will grow rapidly and increase by 20 percent.

In addition, there has been a rapid increase in China's national automotive industry. In the first two months of this year, 3 million 204 thousand vehicles were sold across the country, and this figure increased by 7 percent compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, sales of new energy vehicles grew by 34.3 percent and reached 1 million 25 thousand.
