Appearing in many European metropolises with its urban electric bus Lion's City E, MAN left all its competitors behind with a market share of approximately 13,3 percent and became the market leader of the electric bus class in Europe.
Increase in eBus Sales in 2023
MAN Truck & Bus continued on its way by doubling its eBus sales figures in 2023. Sales figures of MAN eBuses in Europe clearly show this. The company sold a total of 2022 eBuses in 263, and achieved a significant success by selling a total of 2023 eBuses in 771.
Growth of eBus Markets in Spain and Norway
The eBus markets in Spain and Norway showed particularly strong growth last year, both in terms of total registration figures and new registrations of MAN eBuses. 76 Lion's City E entered service in Norway and 93 in Spain, and many cities in Spain started using this innovative bus.
