Breathtaking Rally on Ice Covered Ground

26 vehicles and 52 athletes participated in the rally, which was organized under the sponsorship of Duja Hotels, VST Tour, ICRYPEX, Spor Toto, Remed Assistance, Salados, Power App and Fora Vehicle Tracking, with the support of Kars Governorship, Kars Municipality, Sarıkamış District Governorate and Sarıkamış Municipality.

In the rally, which was run on snow and ice covered ground for 3 days, 18-year-old Kerem Kazaz from Parkur Racing won the first place with his Lithuanian co-pilot Andris Malnieks.

Same zamAli Türkkan-Burak Erdener from Castrol Ford Team Turkey came in second, 2 seconds behind Kazaz, who was the first in Class 24 and young pilots at the time, while Red Bull athlete Türkkan also took the first place in Class 3. In the rally where Ümit Can Özdemir-Kutay Ertuğrul from GP Garage My Team came in third place, the winners were awarded by Kars Governor Ziya Polat, Kars Police Chief Mehmet Ömür Saka, Kars Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Senior Colonel Fatih Cemal Kiper, TOSFED President Eren Üçlertoprağı. It was given at a ceremony held in front of Duja Chalet with the participation of Sarıkamış District Governor Enis Aslantatar, Kars Youth Sports Provincial Director Ayhan Yüreğir and sponsor company officials.

The Class 4 winner of the challenging rally was Çağlayan Çelik-Koray Akgün from Atış Motorsport team, and the Class N winner was the Kemal Şener-Bora Yılmaz team from GP Garage My Team. While Burcu Çetinkaya from the same team won the first place among female pilots of the rally, Sevi Akal, who competed with Mert Yudulmaz from Castrol Ford Team Turkey, won the first place among women co-pilots.

This year, in the TOSFED Rally Cup organized in memory of the late athlete Celal Gülerhan, Gürol Baranlı-Alperen Tetik from GMG Racing came first, while Özgür Yürük-Serkan Şahiner from the same team came in second and Tolga Muhtar-Serhat Kılınç, who competed as an individual, came in third and won the first place in Category 3. became a team.

Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2024 Turkey Rally Championship will continue with the Aegean Rally, which will be organized by the Aegean Automobile Sports Club (EOSK) in Muğla Marmaris on 22-24 March.
