The girls' dormitory, which Antalya Metropolitan Municipality opened in Gülveren District in October to meet the housing needs of university students, became a warm home for students. In addition to accommodation, university students are provided with many services such as food, internet and laundry.
In order to solve the housing needs of university students following the increasing rent prices in Antalya, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek opened dormitories for girls and boys with a capacity of 330 students in the university area and a boys' dormitory with a capacity of 90 students in Elmalı in recent years. Mayor Böcek recently provided support to university students with a girls' dormitory with a capacity of 50 students rented from Antalya University Support Foundation. University students are very pleased with the dormitory, which operates with a capacity of 2023 students in the 2024-50 academic year.

The girls' dormitory, located in Gülveren District of Kepez district and close to Akdeniz University, became the preferred point of students in the face of high house and dormitory rents. Students staying in the dormitory are provided with hot meals in the morning and evening, internet and laundry services. Students who settle in the dormitories are very pleased with the opportunities provided. Pointing out that house and dormitory fees are very high, Akdeniz University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Econometrics Department Student Dilara Tutkun said, "Housing is the most basic problem of students.
