Alp Alpmen was appointed as the Sales Director of Elite World Hotels & Resorts, one of Turkey's domestic hotel chains. Alpmen will contribute to the brand's current and strategic growth targets with his experience of up to 25 years in sales in the tourism industry.
Alpmen, who completed his undergraduate education with distinction in Tourism and Hotel Management at Bilkent University, completed courses in sales and marketing, statistics, finance and economics throughout his education.
Alpmen, who started his career in the tourism sector in international hotel chains such as Conrad Hotel Istanbul, Hilton International Istanbul, Ritz Carlton Istanbul, went on to work in sales and marketing at Ritz Carlton Istanbul, Mövenpick, Kappa Turizm, The Istanbul Edition, Radisson Blu Bosphorus Hotel, Point Hotel Barbaros and again Mövenpick. He worked at Hotel Istanbul and Wyndham Grand Istanbul Kalamis Marina Hotel. Alpmen, who has experience in current market trends in the travel industry, is known for his ability to develop effective sales programs for revenue management, as well as his work on improving the awareness and reputation of the hotel in the domestic market.
Alpmen, who speaks fluent English, is interested in economics, photography, sports such as football, tennis and swimming, as well as theatre, cinema and percussion.
