New Rolls-Royce Cullinan: Makeup Luxury SUV Caught on Spy Cameras

Rolls-Royce is one of the most prestigious brands in the luxury automobile market. The British manufacturer launched its first SUV model, Cullinan, in 2018. Cullinan has been the brand's best-selling model ever since. Now, Rolls-Royce is preparing to make Cullinan even more attractive by subjecting it to a make-up operation.

The make-up version of the Cullinan was captured by spy photographers in Munich, Germany. The blue prototype had some changes on its front. The air intakes at the bottom of the front bumper had a new design. Additionally, the patterns around the radar sensor were also different.

On the back, less change was noticeable. The black plastic part at the bottom of the rear bumper was moved higher. The exhaust outlets also took on a more square shape. The reflectors on the side corners had disappeared. The side profile and roof line of the vehicle remained the same.

Cullinan Comes with Single Engine Option

Cullinan is sold with a single engine option worldwide. This engine is Rolls-Royce's 6.75-litre V12 unit. This engine produces 571 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. In the vehicle's special package called "Black Badge", these values ​​increase to 600 horsepower and 900 Nm. This power is transferred to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission signed by ZF. The maximum speed of the vehicle is limited to 250 km/h.

No change in engine performance is expected in the make-up version of Cullinan. However, Rolls-Royce can also apply the hybrid technology used in the BMW XM model to the Cullinan. In this case, Cullinan could become a more environmentally friendly and economical SUV.
