Ford increases off-road performance with Mustang Mach-E Rally

Ford is adding a new member to its electric SUV family: Mustang Mach-E Rally. This model elevates off-road performance with rally-inspired design features, upgraded suspension and special 19-inch white alloy wheels.

The Mustang Mach-E Rally was first shown as a prototype at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed earlier this year and has now been officially unveiled. The vehicle is equipped with a suspension with 20 millimeters more ground clearance compared to the Mach-E GT and features specially tuned MagneRide shock absorbers. This helps the vehicle gain greater off-road capability.

Two electric motors located on the front and rear wheels produce a total of at least 480 horsepower and 881 Nm of torque. The targeted 0-98 km/h acceleration time is 3.5 seconds. This allows the vehicle to perform well both off-road and on asphalt.

Mach-E Rally's range will be approximately 402 km and can be fast charged thanks to a 91 kilowatt-hour battery pack. The rally version has a striking design and stands out from other Mach-E models with features such as 19-inch gloss white wheels, red Brembo brake calipers, rally-inspired fog lights and a special rear spoiler.

In the interior, there are bright white accents on the instrument panel, steering wheel lower fascias and the backs of the seats. Ford's specially designed RallySport Driving Mode is optimized for off-road driving and provides better control of the vehicle.

Ford's Mustang Mach-E Rally model will be available in the first half of next year. Current specifications are still estimates, so may change before official launch. This new model draws attention with its electric performance and off-road capabilities and brings a new breath to Ford's Mach-E family.
