Ferrari went through a minor restructuring after the disappointment it experienced in the first half of the season. In this context, he parted ways with concept chief David Sanchez and sporting director Laurent Mekies.

Wanting to fill the shoes of those who left with high-profile names, the first name the team agreed with was Mercedes performance director Loic Serra. However, Serra will not be able to join the team before the 2025 season.

The good news is that many important names such as Serra will be signed and these agreements will be announced in the coming months. However, Ferrari team boss Frederic Vasseur is aware that nothing much will change in a short time.

Vasseur: “The recruitment process is always zamThe moment lasts too long.”

“As a result, everyone's joining date is different. Some of our employees will start working on January 1, some on July 1, and some in the 2025 season.”

“Actually, it's a bit frustrating because you feel like you're going to be restructuring for two to four years from now. But if you don't start doing it, you'll never make it."

“We have to continue to work on the process, I think we have already made a good step forward.”

“All processes in F1 are quite long and zaman zamThe moment is quite static. “When you want to sign someone, you have to wait two or three years for it to work out.”

“Still, we do not need to wait for new names to join us in order to develop, I never accept such thoughts. As a matter of fact, I have full confidence in our current team.”

“We need to improve, but we can do a better job with our current resources.”

“We must focus on making the best of what we have. That's the next challenge.”

“I don't want to postpone any goal because that would send the wrong message and demotivate us.”
