Valtteri Bottas' F1 future

Valtteri Bottas, who has been racing in Alfa Romeo for the last two seasons after a five-season Mercedes career, is 34 years old and has recently turned his focus to his private life.

Bottas, who goes on bike tours with his friends, has fun at every opportunity, and even participates in events such as costumed bike races when appropriate, is still able to perform above average on the track.

However, there are still many who say that he is completely disconnected from racing, even Bottas' retirement. zamThere are even those who think that the moment has come.

Commenting on the season on his YouTube channel, Peter Windsor says Bottas thinks long-term and does not see a future for himself in his current team.

Alfa Romeo, which will return to the name Sauber from the next season, will establish a partnership with Audi from the 2026 season and enter a completely different path.

Bottas has said several times that he would like to see the Audi era, but that's unlikely, especially considering the team's interest in Carlos Sainz and training the sub-series Theo Pourchaire.

“I like Valtteri, he's a nice guy and he was fast when he started his career, he's pretty fast now, but he seems to be having a hard time putting the whole weekend together,” Windsor said.

"He looks fast on Friday but goes down in qualifying, or does a good qualifying but goes down in the race."

“Is Valtteri lazy as an F1 driver? I guess yes. this year it zaman zamWe saw him race quite well at the moment, although not as fast as Guanyu Zhou, he looked good.”

“But he is most likely looking into the future and can see that the process Sauber has gone through – Audi's takeover and rebranding – will not involve him.”

“He may be in some sort of manager or consultant role, but he doesn't think of himself as a pilot.”

“He is probably not considering withdrawal, but zaman zamThese thoughts may be coming to your mind right now.”

“For example, what's Oscar Piastri or Liam Lawson's? zamI can't imagine you thinking, 'I'm going to retire at the moment. Valtteri is in a bit of a mess.”

“After all, if you give Valtteri a good set of tires and conditions where he can lap comfortably, he will be as fast as anyone, at least as much as most people.”
