Valtteri Bottas' F1 future
Valtteri Bottas, who has been racing in Alfa Romeo for the last two seasons after a five-season Mercedes career, is 34 years old and has recently turned his focus to his private life.
Bottas, who goes on bike tours with his friends, has fun at every opportunity, and even participates in events such as costumed bike races when appropriate, is still able to perform above average on the track.
However, there are still many who say that he is completely disconnected from racing, even Bottas' retirement. zamThere are even those who think that the moment has come.
Commenting on the season on his YouTube channel, Peter Windsor says Bottas thinks long-term and does not see a future for himself in his current team.
Alfa Romeo, which will return to the name Sauber from the next season, will establish a partnership with Audi from the 2026 season and enter a completely different path.
Bottas has said several times that he would like to see the Audi era, but that's unlikely, especially considering the team's interest in Carlos Sainz and training the sub-series Theo Pourchaire.
“I like Valtteri, he's a nice guy and he was fast when he started his career, he's pretty fast now, but he seems to be having a hard time putting the whole weekend together,” Windsor said.
"He looks fast on Friday but goes down in qualifying, or does a good qualifying but goes down in the race."
