In the interior, the detailed woodwork is shaped by the combination of a total of 1.603 black wooden triangles. The handcrafted wooden piece has been meticulously integrated into the metal interior and exterior of the car, after almost two years of perfection.
Inspired by the charm of the dark Baccara rose, the car reflects an abstract expression of falling rose petals. The background features 1.070 perfectly symmetrical elements, while the 533 asymmetrically placed red pieces represent rose petals.
In the body part of the vehicle, the Special Audemars Piguet watch is combined with a removable fixed belt. Customers wanted the watch to be both car-mounted and removable so it could be attached to a strap and worn. This feature is accomplished by an electric clasp mechanism that gently displays the time at the touch of a button.
Emphasizing the white gold coin, which draws attention with its hand-engraved rose-carved detail, the watch stands out as a unique piece that reflects the unique skills of Audemars Piguet craftsmen. When the watch is removed, the opening in the fascia is closed by an elegant titanium-machined cap.
A special champagne box suitable for the vehicle was requested by the designers. The box is designed in accordance with the details of the vehicle and decorated with a rose pattern. The car has two distinct characters, with a removable hard top design. Without the roof, the Droptail looks like a slim, open-top roadster. When the roof is fitted, the car transforms into an impressive coupe. Under the roof is the sheet metal bearing the car's name, a first for Rolls-Royce.
The exterior design of La Rose Noire Droptail has a special shine. The coating called "Hydroshade", which covers the exterior of the car, was designed in accordance with the dual color theme and was specially developed for the car.
