Nissan has unveiled the long-awaited Z Nismo. The Z Nismo uses the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine also found in the standard model. But Japanese engineers have found a way to get 20 more horsepower from the engine with minor changes. In this way, the model has become a monster that can produce 420 hp and 520 Nm of torque.
You can only get this engine with a 9-speed automatic transmission tuned as “Nismo-specific”. The new model comes standard with Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT600 tires.
Most of the changes in the design enable both the brakes to cool quickly and the downforce to increase. If you look carefully, the small fins seen in the front section are also evident. These fins also strengthen the aerodynamic structure by directing the air to the sides.
The Z Nismo has a wider track than the standard Z and uses larger brakes. It also has a stiffer suspension and better handling.
