Refreshed Porsche 911 GT3 spotted at Nürburgring

Porsche's revamped 911 GT3 has been spotted being tested on the Nürburgring track. The loud engine noise and its performance on the track mark an important stage in the development of the car.

In the video, two different front designs are seen. Some vehicles have a closed front section and an inlet that cuts the surface in the centre. Others have front running lights. Like the current 911 GT3, the revised model has prominent air intakes at the front of the hood.

The GT3's profile shows no signs of change. Previous spy photos show the development vehicle having different wheels during testing. Yellow brake calipers indicate carbon ceramic rotors.

Porsche hides the important stuff in the back of the GT3s. Some vehicles have vertical grilles on the rear corners, while others have a flat panel. The level of camouflage used suggests that the biggest changes to this makeover are likely to be at the rear.

The interior of the updated 911 Carrera is equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster. It might make sense for the GT3 to get this upgrade as well, but we don't have photos of the sports model's interior yet.

At this time, we don't have specific information about possible powertrain changes. If we use the previous generations as a guide, we can say that this update may give some variants a little more power.
