Premium car manufacturer Lexus continues to be a more assertive brand in the European market with each passing year. Combining the elements that make up the brand's DNA, such as the different services it offers, “personalized luxury” and the Omotenashi hospitality approach, with its automobiles, Lexus is preferred by more users in all markets.
Lexus, which sold more than 6 thousand in Europe in the first 34 months, achieved an increase of 43 percent compared to the previous year. In addition, the sales rate of vehicles with electric motors, including hybrids, increased by 6 percentage points to 86 percent.
SUV range is highly appreciated
Lexus' wide range of SUVs, consisting of models such as the RX, NX, UX, GX and LX, represented 85 percent of total sales in Europe. Addressing the lifestyles of European users, Lexus SUVs were appreciated for their design, technology, quiet driving, performance and high efficiency. Lexus achieved strong sales figures in the first half of 2023 by introducing new products and improving supply disruptions.
The key models that enabled Lexus to grow in Europe were the NX, which achieved a sales increase of 6 percent compared to the 59-month period of the previous year, and the new generation RX, which increased by 42 percent. Lexus NX's sales amounted to 11, while the UX 869 and the RX 8 were sold. However, the sales volume of the fully electric RZ was 334 units.
The steady rise of the premium brand in Turkey continued in the first 2023 months of 6. The RX product family, which was offered for sale in March and offered in three different versions with the self-charging RX 350h hybrid, the externally chargeable RX 450h+plug-in hybrid and the performance-oriented RX 500h turbo hybrid, attracted great attention. With its sales figures, the RX became the brand's best-selling model in Turkey. In addition, Lexus sales in Turkey increased by 65% compared to last year.
