The winners of the Automotive Brand Contest, the only impartial and international design competition that includes automobile brands, have been announced. This year, the Volkswagen ID.3 was awarded the “Best of Best” award in the “Exterior Volume Brand” and “Interior Volume Brand” categories. The jury’s evaluation emphasized that the ID.3 is an impressive car with its harmonious interior and exterior design, while also stating that Volkswagen’s typical design style is interpreted in an impressive and contemporary way in the ID.3.

Beginning of digital design era

Stating that ID.3 represents the beginning of a new mobility era for the Volkswagen brand, Volkswagen Design Department President Klaus Bischoff said, “This model is also a harbinger of a digital design era that aims to create the best user experience possible and uses the most modern technologies. The decision of the jury members shows that we are on the right track. ”

First place in both models

Two other models of Volkswagen were also awarded in the competition. The eighth-generation Golf, launched in late 2019, was awarded first place in the "External Volume Brand" and "Interior Volume Brand" categories by the jury members this year. ID.
