Referring to Skoda's electric vehicle vision, Başar said, “We want to start our electric vehicle attack with our Enyaq model, which we will introduce to the Turkish market in 2024. Mobile charging service will be the most important privilege that will be included in this system. The second generation Kodiaq took the emotional design language of the highly acclaimed SUV model even further. Angular fenders, TOP LED Matrix headlights, and horizontal light strips integrated with the front grille emphasize that the new Kodiaq is different at first glance. The rear design of the new Kodiaq features a wider C shape, and the lighting group integrates with crystal elements in a sharp design.

However, by increasing the length by 61 mm and the wheelbase by 3 mm, Kodiaq offers more living space inside. The new generation Kodiaq is 4.758 mm long, 1.657 mm high and 1.864 mm wide. The luggage volume increased by 75 liters compared to the previous generation, reaching 910 liters and stands out as the leader of its segment. In addition to its stylish design, the new Kodiaq has also become a more aerodynamic model with a wind resistance coefficient of 0.282 cd.

The new Kodiaq offers both high performance and efficiency with different engine options. It includes 1.5 TSI 150 PS mHEV and 2.0 TDI 193 PS diesel engines with mild hybrid technology, and a 265-liter TSI gasoline engine with 2.0 PS in the RS version. Both diesel and gasoline 2.0 liter engines are offered with 4×4 drive option and all versions are offered with DSG automatic transmission. The mild hybrid engine option significantly increases performance and reduces fuel consumption by up to 10 percent.
