Mercedes-Benz New EQV and New V-Series Are Now Even More Stylish

Mercedes-Benz will follow a different strategic approach in van models in the future. It was shared that a premium strategy is targeted for commercial vans in 2023. As with all Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, the luxury strategy will be implemented in all future MPVs that will be newly developed and positioned for individual use. Mercedes-Benz aims to fully implement this strategic change with the launch of the modular and scalable Van Electric Architecture (VAN.EA for short), which will be available from 2026. The new mid-size MPVs for personal use, the EQV and V-Class, represent an important milestone on this path. Both models reveal an even more advanced structure with their new exterior and interior design. In particular, smarter digital network solutions provide additional comfort and security.

Bridge to the future

Mercedes-Benz EQV and V-Class MPVs are highly appreciated in the European and Asian markets. The customer base ranges from families to entertainment enthusiasts and VIP users to business people. The models stand out with their large interior volumes, high comfort and quality and unique designs. It also offers different customization options with numerous hardware series. While the EQV model is offered as AVANTGARDE, the V-Series is sold in the STYLE and AVANTGARDE series, apart from the base version, and in EXCLUSIVE versions as the top of the product range. In addition to the AMG Line and Night Package for the V-Class, optional design packages such as the Exterior and Interior Design Packages for the EQV are also available.

Mercedes-Benz Light Commercial Vehicles further strengthens its position in the market by making its MPVs more attractive. This paves the way for more profitable growth at the top of the segment. Over the next few years, new vehicles will deliver not only the high-end MPV experience, but also the zamIt will now create a bridge to a completely electric future. The innovative 'fully electric' vehicle architecture VAN.EA, which will be offered to the market as of 2026, constitutes the fundamental element of this future. In the future, all newly developed MPVs will be based on this platform. VAN.EA same zamIt also marks an important milestone towards having a net carbon neutral new vehicle fleet by 2039, which is one of the most important transformation goals in Mercedes-Benz's sustainable business strategy.

New exterior design for a flawless look

The new EQV and V-Series differ with their new appearance. The further developed design gives both models a more different and unique appearance in their respective segments. The new front design creates a striking appearance with its radiator grille with different forms and strong bumper design. Depending on the trim level, an LED light band surrounds the radiator grille. The V-Class EXCLUSIVE, which is the top of the product range, has a prestigious, upright Mercedes star on its bonnet for the first time. Adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlights with their elegant design, offered as standard or optional depending on the equipment level, add additional elegance to all versions. The new chrome strip with Mercedes-Benz lettering on the rear and the new LED lighting group create a unique appearance. The backlight group, whose outlines are darkened, thus creates a clearer light signature. The stylish and attractive appearance is complemented by four new body colours, as well as new aerodynamically optimized 17, 18 and 19-inch alloy wheels.

New cockpit design with high-tech appearance and additional comfort features

The interior attracts attention with an advanced appearance focused on digitalization. Two 12,3-inch widescreen displays, stylish new ventilation grilles and a new generation steering wheel with capacitive hands-free sensing feature adorn the cockpit. Modern high-tech design elevates the style and quality perception of MPVs.

The redesigned center console also supports on-demand smartphone wireless charging. Many new features, some of which are optional, advance the in-cabin experience, including the keyless start function, heated steering wheel and dim rear cabin lighting for night driving. 64-color ambient lighting creates a more personal and comfortable environment. The new V-Class and EQV are equipped as standard with a sliding door on the left side of the vehicle to provide easier access to the rear.

MBUX infotainment system: Intelligent, interactive and personal

The new MPV models offer a unique digital and interactive experience with the latest MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system offered as standard.

The intuitive display and operating concept offer personalized recommendations for numerous infotainment, comfort and vehicle functions. It is controlled via the central display, touch control surfaces on the steering wheel, the touch pad on the center console or the even more optimized teachable voice assistant 'Hey Mercedes'. The latest MBUX generation also provides additional benefits such as increased computing power, EQV visuals with additional functions specific to electric vehicles and parking assist display on the central display.

Different digital extras from Mercedes-Benz

The MBUX infotainment system also includes numerous digital extra features. These make the new EQV and V-Class smarter, while daily life becomes easier and more efficient.

Screens and settings specific to electric vehicles can be managed via MBUX's high-resolution central screen. The system includes features such as Electric Intelligence, as well as individual settings for cabin pre-air conditioning and vehicle charging.

Driving assistance systems: Each zammoment more support

Safety and support systems with advanced and additional functions further increase the attractiveness of the models. For example, Active Brake Assist now includes a cross-traffic function. The new EQV and V-Series hit the road with rich standard equipment: ATTENTION ASSIST, Headlight Assist including rain sensor, Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Tracking Assist, Intelligent Speed ​​Assist and Parking Package.

Adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlights with High Beam Assist PLUS function are available for the first time. The headlights, which have 84 individually controllable LED cells, enable the light beam to be adjusted extremely quickly and precisely depending on the current traffic conditions. High Beam Assist PLUS illuminates the road in the most effective way without dazzling other drivers and passengers.

The new driving assistance package also includes different additional functions. The package includes Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Steering Assist and Active Speed ​​Limit Assist with route-based speed adaptation and advanced automatic recalculation in traffic congestion. The new parking package with 360-degree camera makes parking and maneuvers easier. It provides 3-degree visualization of the camera-assisted parking process using 360D images. Parking package; It includes Active Parking Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Pedestrian Emergency Braking and Departure Assist functions. There is also a tow bar and a trailer maneuvering aid with the automatic transmission.

Rich product variety

The new all-electric EQV features an electric motor that produces a maximum power of 150 kW (204 hp) and a continuous power of 70 kW (95 hp) for 90 and 60 kWh (WLTP: combined energy consumption: 29,43-27,04 kWh/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: It is offered for sale with two battery sizes (0g/km). EQV provides an electric WLTP driving range of 277-365 km, with the contribution of an efficient energy recovery system and optimized thermal management that further increases efficiency and range in the real world. The fully electric MPV supports up to 11 kW alternating current (AC) charging both at home and at charging stations as standard, as well as direct current (DC) charging up to 110 kW at fast charging stations. At the fast charging station, 10-80 percent SoC (State of Charge) takes about 40 minutes.

The new V-Class features the efficient diesel engine OM654, which has proven its success. This engine is available in three different performance levels: 120 kW (163 hp), 140 kW (190 hp), 174 kW (237 hp) (WLTP: combined fuel consumption: 8.7-6.9 l/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 229-182 gr/km).

9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and different chassis and driving mode options provide agile and comfortable driving features in all versions. While the internal combustion engine options are rear-wheel drive, an optional four-wheel drive system is also offered for diesel versions. Electric versions are offered with front-wheel drive.
