Free Travel is Possible in Electric Vehicles with Solar Energy

Joyce One vehicles, developed by Agrotech Group company Joyce Technology, will meet their electricity needs entirely from the sun, thanks to the energy storage system (EDS).

Joyce Technology Battery Manager Lütfullah Özdoğan said that the domestic production EDS system they developed in order to end energy dependency will be used for Joyce One vehicles.

Özdoğan said, “As Joyce Technology, we produce EDS systems. EDS is a storage system that allows the energy obtained from the sun to be collected in a battery and used day and night. We use this system integrated with solar panels. It is possible to use EDS in electric motorcycles, electric vehicles and ZIKAs (Unmanned Agricultural Vehicles) specially designed for agriculture. The most important part of the battery is the battery. We implemented EDS using Aspilsan's lithium-ion batteries, which are also domestically produced. There is over 90 percent domestic production here. "The fact that this is domestic production is of strategic importance for our country in terms of reducing foreign dependency on energy," he said.

CHARGING POSSIBILITY WHETHER AT HOME OR IN THE FIELD

Noting that it is possible to use EDS in different places such as homes, villas, hotels and agricultural areas, Lütfullah Özdoğan continued: “It is necessary to have a suitable area to use this system. It is also a system that needs to be designed and installed. If the customer wants to use this system, he needs an area to install the solar energy system and storage unit. If it has these areas, it can fully benefit from solar energy after purchasing the vehicle. Apart from the investment cost, the vehicle can be used free of charge. It is possible to install a similar system in agricultural areas where there is no electricity. It is also possible to benefit from the Unmanned Agricultural Vehicles (ZİKA) developed by our company in agriculture day and night thanks to solar energy with this system.”

IT IS POWERED FROM SOLAR ENERGY

Giving information about the EDS system, Özdoğan continued: “We are installing solar panels on the roof of the garage. There is an inverter and EDS system underneath. The electricity obtained from solar energy is stored in the EDS with the help of the inverter. Then you want to charge the vehicle. zamThe vehicle charger draws energy from the EDS with the help of the inverter, brings it to the appropriate voltage and the vehicle can be charged. EDS is a system with an energy capacity of one and a half tanks for Joyce One. With the mobile battery system we also developed for Joyce One, it is also possible to bring the battery to your home and charge it from the outlet.”
