When the average kilometers traveled by vehicles in a year are examined; It was calculated that in 2022, buses will travel 53 thousand 409 kilometers, trucks 46 thousand 305 kilometers, minibuses 27 thousand 951 kilometers, pickup trucks 16 thousand 382 kilometers, automobiles 13 thousand 415 kilometers and motorcycles 3 thousand 648 kilometers.

When the distance traveled by automobiles in 2022 is examined according to the fuel types of the vehicles; 48,4 percent of the total vehicle-kilometers were made by diesel, 30,5 percent by LPG and 21,1 percent by gasoline-fueled cars.

When the total distance traveled in Turkey in 2022 is examined according to the age groups of the vehicles; While the largest number of roads are driven by vehicles aged 37,0 and over, which constitute 48,4 percent of the vehicle fleet, with a rate of 12 percent, this is followed by vehicles aged 23,5 and over, with 4 percent, 7-20,3 years and 0 percent, respectively.
