Peugeot, which is preparing to offer a wider range of electric cars than other brands in Europe in 2025, is taking it to the next level by replacing its 7-seat SUV model with a completely new, advanced electric SUV.
Peugeot introduced the new generation of the large-volume SUV model 5008 in its product range. Aiming to become a fully electric brand, Peugeot continues to expand its product range to meet all the needs of its customers.
The new E-5008 offers a generous interior space for those traveling with its length of 4,79 meters and especially its wheelbase of 2,89 meters. This innovative platform is designed to offer customers best-in-class performance. Superior range up to 660 km, charging time up to 30 minutes, driving pleasure, performance, efficiency and features such as “Trip Planner”, “Smart Charging”, “In-Vehicle Charging”, “Plug and Charge” and “Wireless Updates Over the Internet” It also provides important additional benefits such as connected services and functions. The new Peugeot E-5008 will be produced exclusively at the Sochaux Factory in France and will be gradually available in European markets from the autumn of 2024.
It will be offered in two equipment levels and a simple product range, "Allure" and "GT", and there will be 3 different additional option packages for them. Apart from this, there will be three fully electric engine options (210 HP, 230 HP Long Range and 320 HP Dual Motor 4-wheel drive). In addition, two different powertrain options will be offered depending on the markets, one being a 48V hybrid (136 HP) and the other being a rechargeable hybrid (Plug-in Hybrid 195 HP).

The new Peugeot E-5008 supports efficiency with its "EYE-CATCHING" aerodynamic design and offers an elegant interior. The new E-5008 shows its strong SUV character with an extremely dynamic design, emphasizing durability and safety. With its length of 4,79 meters, width of 1,89 meters and height of 1,69 meters, the new E-5008 reveals a strong stance on the road with its high and prominent shoulder line and generous dimensions. The new E-5008 evokes movement with its design. The sloping design of the rear window is followed by the front design, which includes striking side design elements and an innovative front grille that matches the body color with a new light signature.
New standards in electric vehicle performance
The new E-5008 is the same, not only in terms of range zamIt hits the road with electric and electrically assisted powertrain systems that set the performance standards in its segment in terms of the options it currently offers.
Designed from the outset as an electric model, the new E-5008 features zero-emission (WLTP cycle pending approval) powertrain systems offering an electric driving range of 500 to 660 km, including an AWD Dual Motor and Long Range version. New generation permanent magnet synchronous motors offer more power and efficiency. 2-wheel drive versions produce 157 kW (343 Nm) or 170 kW (343 Nm). The dual-motor 4-wheel drive version provides a total of 157 kW of power, 343 kW (83 Nm) at the front and 166 kW (240 Nm) at the rear.
