Battery Boost Steps
- Step 1: Turn off elements such as headlights, multimedia and interior lighting of the vehicle with a dead battery.
- Step: Remove the vehicle's battery protective covers, if any.
- Step 1: Connect the red (+) end of the jumper cable to the battery (+) terminal of the vehicle with a dead battery. Connect the other end of the red cable to the (+) terminal of the vehicle with a charged battery.
- Step 1: Connect the black (-) end of the jumper cable to the battery (-) terminal of the vehicle with a charged vehicle. Connect the other end of the black cable to the (-) terminal of the vehicle with a dead battery. (Or connect it to any metal part on the body of the vehicle.)
