Erkunt Traktör, one of Turkey's leading manufacturers, presented its new products, which stand out with their fuel savings, design and performance, to the farmers at the 19th Agroexpo held in Fuar İzmir this year.
Erkunt Traktör CEO Tolga Saylan also introduced their new product, Misket 26B, with 26 HP power, designed specifically for Aegean farmers to be used in small gardens, hobby gardening, transportation works and hotel management services, at the fair.
Saylan said that the tractor industry achieved successful work in 2023 and gave the following information: “2023 was a year in which records were broken for the sector. A total of more than 77 thousand tractors were sold throughout Türkiye. This was recorded as the highest sales figure in the last 20 years. We had no problem with demand. However, there was a decrease in tractor supply due to the spare parts shortage that started during the pandemic period and still continues to affect. Despite this, as Erkunt, we sold around 6 thousand tractors domestically and abroad last year. We have entered a new era with the strict economic policies implemented after the second half of 2023. Due to high inflation, there were price increases in items such as personnel, materials and energy. Besides these; I think there will be a general contraction in the tractor sector in 2024 due to the difficulties farmers experience in accessing credit. We aim to focus more on exports this year with our international brand ArmaTrac. “We expect our tractor sales to be at the same levels as last year.”

Pointing out that the Aegean Region is one of the most important production areas of agriculture in terms of potential, Tolga Saylan said, “As Erkunt, we closely follow this region and the changing and developing demands of farmers. We listen to their voices. Our dealers and service organizations work very actively in the region. In order to provide comprehensive service to our farmers, zamOur agricultural equipment brand Hisarlar Agricultural Machinery stand is also ready. Our machines to be exhibited at this fair were created from selected products that have been tried and admired by our Aegean farmers for years. "We invite our farmers, who want to closely examine both our new products and our most preferred products in vineyards, gardens and greenhouses, and support our R&D studies with their opinions, to our stand in hall C," he said.
NEW MODELS ARE DISPLAYED
Making statements about the new models, Saylan continued his words as follows: “Kısmet 58 E, which is the favorite of Aegean farmers, stands out with its high performance and gets full marks from the farmers with its fuel economy. Erkunt Çözümci Series tractors, which are considered indispensable in almost most orchards in the Aegean, have 65 different models between 95 and 5 HP. We attended the first fair of 2024, believing in the good luck of the Aegean. In addition, we presented a new product in the small horse segment to our farmers at this fair, as requested by the Aegean farmers. Last year, we introduced our new products with Stage 3B emission e-Capra engine, a domestically produced engine brand, and the Fruiti Series with creeper gear to Aegean farmers. As a result of R&D studies, eCapra engine models with Stage 4 emissions were introduced this year. Our new models with Stage 80 emissions in the 110 – 4 HP power range; Luxury includes the E and Grand Luxury Series.
