Israeli actor Chaim Topol, who played the character "Tevye" in the movie "Fiddler on the Roof" and became famous in Turkey with this role, passed away last year. A surprising fact emerged about Topol, who passed away at the age of 87. Speaking to the Israeli press, his family announced that Topo participated in secret missions for the Israeli foreign intelligence service Mossad many times.

It was stated that the Israeli actor, who lived in London, the capital of England, for many years, frequently met with Zvi Amir, who later became the head of Mossad.

Topol's son also stated that his father was instructed to listen to the consulate of an Arab country on a mission and told the details of this incident.

He said that his father and his team drilled a hole in the wall of the rented flat next to the consulate's building, pretending to be a dentist, and placed listening equipment.
