The World's Top Automobile Exporting Country Has Changed!

The title of being the world's largest automobile exporting country belonged to Japan for years. Japan was producing large quantities of vehicles and then marketing them in different parts of the world. In the same context, Germans have traditionally been important automobile exporters; South Korean companies have also made great progress as manufacturers and exporters in recent years.

However, the leap made by the Chinese electric car industry has brought this country to the position of being the world's first exporting country. China had already surpassed Germany in the ranking of the world's largest exporters in 2022. According to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, this country exported at least 2023 million vehicles in the first 11 months of 4,41, increasing its exports by 2022 percent compared to the same period in 58. During the same period, Japan exported only 3,99 million vehicles, a 15 percent increase on a yearly basis. In this case, assuming there is no development that will upset the positions in December 2023, China will have taken its position as the world's largest automobile exporter from Japan.

The export in question includes all vehicles manufactured in China and sold abroad. Therefore, this amount includes Chinese brands as well as American and European brand cars produced and exported in China. For example, Tesla exports many vehicles it produces in China. BMW also produces and sells its new electric Mini model in China.
