In the written statement made by the Istanbul Police Department, the following was noted:
“On December 21, retired police officer A.B.Ö. in Avcılar district. Judicial and administrative proceedings have been initiated regarding the incident between Avcılar District Police Chief and Avcılar District Police Chief. According to the preliminary findings, the retired police officer cursed at the family of the District Police Chief, who was returning from the police station inspection in his district, while passing by, and the District Police Chief got out of his vehicle and went towards the workplace, and a fight broke out between them.”
In the statement, it was stated that the public will be informed following the completion of the judicial and administrative investigation regarding the incident.
