Team 75 Bernhard Says Goodbye to DTM!
Team 75 Bernhard, owned by Porsche brand ambassador Timo Bernhard, announced that it will not compete in the DTM in the new season. The team will focus on the Porsche championships.
Team 75 Bernhard Has Budget Problems
Team 75 Bernhard competed in the DTM this year with the Porsche 911 GT3 R. However, the team announced that it could not find the necessary budget for next year. Team owner Timo Bernhard said: “Finding the balance between managing the team and acting as a Porsche brand ambassador has been a big challenge. Both tasks require concentration, and my responsibility towards the team and people is very important to me. Also, the budget required to meet my high standards regarding the DTM project is not currently available. That's why we decided to take this step, which is difficult for us.” said.
Team 75 Bernhard to Head to Porsche Championships
Team 75 Bernhard will focus on the Porsche championships after leaving the DTM. The team will compete in different categories such as Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and Porsche Sports Cup Germany. The team stated that these championships are important for the development of the Porsche brand.
Ayhancan Güven Seen the Podium with Team 75 Bernhard
Ayhancan Güven, the only Turkish driver competing in DTM with Team 75 Bernhard, completed the season with a podium. Güven won the first DTM podium of his career by coming third in the last race in Assen. Güven finished the season in 11th place. Güven has not yet made a statement about which team he will compete with next season.
