As the electric vehicle market grows day by day, the number and quality of charging stations also gain importance. Charging problems, one of the biggest problems of electric vehicle owners, are being solved by many brands establishing their own charging networks. One of these brands, Tesla, continues to increase the number of fast charging stations it calls Supercharger in Turkey.

Where is Tesla Establishing Supercharger Charging Stations in Turkey?

Tesla currently has 4 Supercharger charging stations in Turkey, in Ankara, Bolu, Edirne and Istanbul. These stations provide service to Tesla owners free of charge. Tesla started to establish new stations to expand its Supercharger charging network in Turkey. Firstly, 68 Supercharger charging stations were installed at the O8 Oksijen Gemlik rest facility on the Istanbul-Izmir highway. These stations serve Tesla owners at a price of 7.8 TL / kWh. Other electric vehicle owners can benefit from these stations for a price of 8.6 TL / kWh.

What is the Status of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in Turkey?

The number of electric vehicle charging stations in Turkey is increasing day by day. As of October 2023, there are 4.221 charging stations in Turkey. These charging stations have a total of 8.861 sockets, that is, charging points. Of the 8.861 charging points, 6.633 have AC charging (slow charging) and 2.228 have DC charging (fast charging). Most of these stations are located in big cities and main highway crossing points.

Enerjisa Mobile provides service with more than 7 charging stations in 20 provinces of Turkey. Enerjisa Mobil offers both AC and DC charging services. Enerjisa Mobil provides charging opportunities to electric vehicle owners at a price of 0.79 TL / kWh.
