Nissan Could Produce Electric Versions of Qashqai and Juke in the UK
Nissan plans to produce electric versions of the Qashqai and Juke models, which are very popular in the European market, in the UK. This decision means Nissan will invest ₺36 billion in the Sunderland factory and create thousands of new jobs.
Nissan is in Talks with the Government to Switch to Electric Production
Nissan announced earlier this year that it would produce the crossover successor of the Leaf model in the UK. However, this may not be the only electric model Nissan will produce in the UK. According to reports from Sky News and the Financial Times, Nissan is also considering producing electric versions of the Qashqai and Juke at its Sunderland factory.
