Pagani is preparing a new version of the Huayra model, which was launched in 2011 and received great acclaim in the automobile world. This model, seen on the runway in camouflage, may be the open-top version of the Huayra. Pagani shared the teaser images of this mysterious model.

Developer of Pagani Huayra: Grandi Complicazioni

Pagani continues to offer the Huayra model with different variations such as Zonda. Behind this model is a team called Grandi Complicazioni. This team designs special or limited edition models for Pagani. Grandi Complicazioni means “Great Confusion” in Italian.

Open-Top Version of Pagani Huayra: Roadster

Pagani published images of the model it tested in camouflage. According to these images, this model could be the roadster version of the Huayra. In other words, it is a model with a removable ceiling. This model can also be described as the open-top version of the coupe model called Imola.

Coupe Version of Pagani Huayra: Imola

Pagani introduced the Imola, the coupe version of the Huayra, in 2019. This model was the most powerful and best-equipped version of the Huayra. The Imola had a 6-litre V12 engine produced by Mercedes-AMG. This engine produced 838 horsepower and 1100 Nm of torque. Imola transferred this power to the rear wheels with a 7-speed transmission produced by Xtrac.

Imola was tested at high speeds for 16 thousand km. This model took its name from the "Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari" track where the tests were held. Only 5 units of the Imola were produced and all were sold.

Pagani Huayra's Electric Future

Although Pagani discontinued the Huayra model with an internal combustion engine, with the rise of electric cars, we may also see an electric version of the Huayra. Although Pagani did not make a clear statement on this issue, he said that he was hopeful for the electric future of Huayra.
