Renault Announces 2027 Strategy and Worldwide Plans

Renault announced its goals and strategy worldwide until 2027. The French automotive giant continues its efforts to increase its sales in international markets, expand its electric vehicle portfolio and reduce carbon emissions.

In this context, today 35.000 talents work under the umbrella of Renault outside Europe.

Renault Expands Its Electric Vehicle Portfolio

Renault continues its efforts to expand its electric vehicle portfolio. The brand will achieve this goal by launching E-Tech electric models in many other countries. Thus, the brand aims to sell one in three vehicles with an electric or hybrid version in international markets as well as the European market by 2027.

Renault's electric vehicle portfolio includes models such as the Megane E-Tech 100% Electric model. This model is currently available in Brazil and Turkey and will soon be available in other countries. The Megane E-Tech 100% Electric model is the first model to use Renault's new CMF-EV platform. This model is equipped with a 160 kW (217 horsepower) electric motor and a 60 kWh capacity battery. In this way, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and offers a range of 450 km on a single charge.

Renault Aims to Reduce Carbon Emissions

Renault also includes reducing carbon emissions among the main goals of the "Renault brand international 2027 strategy". To achieve this goal, the brand takes various measures to reduce the carbon footprint of both its vehicles and production facilities. The brand aims for 2022% of its vehicles sold in Europe to be electric or hybrid in 90, and for all its vehicles to be zero-emission by 2030. Additionally, the brand plans to increase the use of renewable energy and improve waste management in its production facilities.
