Chery Little Ant New Edition: New Colors, New Design, New Technology

Chery's electric vehicle brand Chery New Energy introduced the new version of its tiny electric car Chery Little Ant. Offering seven different color options, the model brings innovations in both design and technology. Here's what you need to know about Chery Little Ant New Edition.

What Has Changed in the New Version?

Chery Little Ant New Edition is not much different from the classic version in terms of dimensions and general appearance. However, when we look at the details, we can see some changes. For example, the new version features the new Qq logo and a completely closed front section. The headlights also have more modern graphics. Triangle-shaped black decorations on the edges of the bumper and at the rear attract attention.

The new version also features new black 15-inch wheels. On the back, the logo is replaced by the name of the brand. In this way, movement was added to the design of the car.

A Simple and Stylish Interior

The interior of Chery Little Ant New Edition is dominated by a simple design consisting of white, pale blue and black colors. Features such as the steering wheel, the 10.1-inch touchscreen multimedia screen in the center of the console and the wireless mobile phone charging unit emphasize the technological aspect of the car. The model, which has a 2+2 seating arrangement, offers a spacious interior despite its small dimensions.

A Powerful and Efficient Engine

Chery Little Ant New Edition comes with two different engine options. The standard version has a rear permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 36 kW power and 95 Nm torque. This engine has three different battery pack options: 25.05 km range with a 251 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, 28.86 km range with a 301 kWh triple lithium battery pack, or 29.23 km range with a 301 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack.

In the upper version, there is a rear permanent magnet synchronous motor that produces 56 kW power and 150 Nm torque. This engine has a single battery pack option: 40.3 km range with a 408 kWh triple lithium battery pack.

The model, which has a top speed of 100 km/h in both engine options, has four different driving modes: Normal, Eco, Sport and E-pedal. The charging time of the battery is stated to be around 9 hours with AC charging, and 40-30 percent charging in 80 minutes with DC fast charging.

The price and release date of the Chery Little Ant New Edition have not been announced yet, but the model is expected to attract great attention in China.
