Skoda continues to develop the Enyaq Coupe RS family to welcome its second year with more power and longer range. Both models will attract attention with their power increases and range improvements as of this year.
Power Increase for 2023
Both models will experience an output increase of up to 40 hp as of this year. Dual-engine models will now increase their power, reaching 335 hp. This will make the Enyaq Coupe RS family the most powerful models in Skoda's range. The 0-100 km/h acceleration of electric models is also affected by this power increase, reducing approximately 1 second. Models now complete this acceleration in 5.5 seconds.
Efficiency and Range Increase
Increasing power in electric vehicles can often lead to range problems, but Skoda engineers prevented this by increasing the efficiency of the engine. The standard RS model has thus increased its range by approximately 24 km to 541 km. The coupe version will increase by 26 kilometers and start offering a range of 547 kilometers.
Strengthening Fast Charging Capacity
Skoda has also strengthened the fast charging capabilities of Enyaq models. Models will be able to offer 175 kW fast charging support as of this year. According to the manufacturer's statements, this change reduces the time it takes for the 10-80 percent charging range to be filled by approximately 8 minutes.
Future of Enyaq
Along with these important updates, future plans of the Skoda Enyaq family were also shared. The introduction of the second generation in 2025 shows the brand's determination in the electric vehicle segment.
