Chery JAECOO 7 outperformed in rigorous tests

Chery's new SUV model, JAECOO 7, showed superior performance in challenging tests in China's different climatic and terrain conditions.

Chery engineers tested the JAECOO 7 on a test route of thousands of kilometers starting from Wuhu, covering Turpan, Dunhuang and Golmud region, to experience different weather, climate and environmental conditions.

Especially in the city of Turpan, where the highest temperature exceeds 51 degrees in summer, tests such as high temperature brake cooling, hot start, high temperature dust, high temperature durability and air conditioning cooling were carried out.

JAECOO 7 exhibited high durability and stability even under high heat exposure and surface temperature reaching the limit of 75 degrees. It also coped with the harsh road conditions in Turpan and easily adapted to the yellow sands of the Gobi Desert.

In the climate test, it took just 7 minutes to lower the JAECOO 44's indoor temperature by 10 degrees. When this test was done, the ambient temperature in Turpan reached 51 degrees and the interior temperature of the car reached 80 degrees.

China is one of the countries with the most complex climate and geographical conditions in the world, with four seasons in the same day and different weather conditions within just 150 km. The challenging tests of JAECOO 7 over 15.000 kilometers still continue. The next stop will be the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China. It will be tested to what extent JAECOO 7 can sustain its high performance in harsh conditions at an altitude of 5.200 meters above sea level.
